CONSILIO Law Firm Provided Legal Support for Sinsay’s Entry into the Uzbek Market

CONSILIO Law Firm provided comprehensive legal support for the entry of the international fashion retail chain Sinsay into the Uzbek market, focusing on the leasing of commercial real estate and the establishment of retail locations.

As part of the project, the CONSILIO team handled the full legal support of commercial lease transactions for the opening of Sinsay stores in Tashkent and across the regions of Uzbekistan. In total, 11 lease agreements covering key commercial properties were drafted, negotiated, and finalized.

The scope of work included negotiations with landlords, legal due diligence of the properties, preparation and negotiation of lease documentation, and legal support throughout the transaction process up to signing. The primary objective of the project was to ensure the legal integrity of each transaction, minimize potential risks, and protect the client's interests throughout every stage of its market entry.

Today, Sinsay is successfully operating in Uzbekistan and continues to actively expand its retail network across the country. The project reflects the growing interest of international fashion brands in the Uzbek market and highlights the importance of professional legal support when expanding a foreign business into a new jurisdiction.

The Consilio team provided comprehensive legal support for the cooperation between ACWA Power and Apex Life Insurance in launching a corporate well-being program for employees working in remote regions of Uzbekistan.

The program, developed at the request of ACWA Power in partnership with Apex Life Insurance, covers 186 insured rotational employees. Medical professionals, nutritionists, genetic specialists, and psychologists develop personalized nutrition and wellness plans while providing 24/7 psychological support.
